Normally we have 1 student per year selected, but this year we came away with 3 students selected for Virginia Music Educators' Association Honors Choir, the most prestigious honor choir in the state.   10. The Cookie Cart is Here!!! All items on the cart will be $1. The cookie cart does not accept coins or make change, so please have dollar bills ready in order to make a purchase.

  11. It’s in VIOLATION of the DRESS CODE To wear leggings, tight fitting spandex pants, see through pants, tights, or leotards warn as outer garments. If you wear these items you will be asked to change clothing and cited with a dress code violation.

  16. High School Diplomats Sophomores and Juniors, Are you interested in Japanese culture? Come to our information meeting to find out how you can get a 10 day scholarship to Princeton University to meet and exchange cultures with Japanese students. The meeting is October 24th at 2:30 in the Library.

  25. Attention students interested in swimming this year there will be a brief informational meeting at 2:20pm near the senior side of the cafeteria on Tuesday afternoon. Any interested swimmers unable to attend Tuesday's meeting should stop by Ms. Allen's room in C101.

  27. All Girls Interested in Playing LaCrosse This spring, there will be a meeting after school on Monday, OCT 15 in the cafeteria

  28. Congratulations to theVarsity Volley Ball Team for their 3-1 win over Brooke Point. The Indians were led by Haley Parish with 12 digs, Jessie Gatain with 39 assists, and Dana Lee with 4 aces. The Indians was also helped by the strong fan support from teachers and students. Great job Girls! 10/12

  31. Congratulations Varsity Field Hockey for their 2-1 overtime victory against Brooke Point . The regulation goal was scored by Audre Braxton and assisted by Cassie Hooghouse. The winning overtime goal was scored by McKenzie Bowler. Goalie Kelsey Trainorhad a key save on a penalty stroke during the game to secure the win. Way to go, ladies.

  32. Congratulations Stafford Cheer Team to our great coaches Kristi Proudfoot, Janet Barham, Heather Carafiol, Michelle Ellisas both our Varsity and JV Cheer teams placed first this past weekend at Park View HS. The Commonwealth District Championship is OCT 24 at SHS!!
