Mission Statement To continually assess and integrate the continuing educational needs of Ohio’s public safety forces, health organizations, and support teams by providing training that relates to the mandates of emergency response and Homeland Security. To develop resources, curriculum, and subject experts, while continually assessing public safety training needs of other agencies, such as colleges, public and private K-12 schools, government agencies and private corporations, to increase their awareness level and operational capacity.

  6. Strategic Goals • GOAL ONE: Track NIMS Status and offer related training • GOAL TWO: Seek funding to achieve fiscal sustainability

  7. Strategic Goals, cont. • GOAL THREE: Establish a Resource Council. Build collaborative partnerships with key agencies, businesses and organizations • GOAL FOUR: Offerings with nominal tuition rates.

  8. Strategic Goals, cont. • GOAL FIVE: Integrate Training Programs, avoiding duplication. Provide approved CEU’s to meet certification and renewal requirements. Share resources and innovative training opportunities. • GOAL SIX: Track continuing education & training hours for public safety professionals. Join the statewide initiative seeking to implement this system. Coordinate this effort with Training Officers.
