Work plan • Define the workforce covered by the Consortium • In line with BRiC • Alcohol treatment • Are there others in public health who could benefit? • Map existing qualifications including management and supervision qualifications. • Numbers who are qualified • Numbers and types of qualification available • Map the qualifications against the skills framework • Identify gaps and omissions

  4. Work plan (continued) • Work with the sector skills councils and other development and education providers to rectify these omissions • Develop a qualification and competency frame work which will deliver the skills frame work. • Remember that qualification means quality assured/adequately assessed • Work closely with the Research and evidence group to identify new development need • Ensure the Skills Hub can support the education and development needs of the sector
