The school wassituated in a Countbuilding. The first employed teacher was Mrs Pawłowska, who taught children reading, writing and crafts. A year later the school moved to a rented house at the BreweryStreet. In thisschooltaught Krasiński , afterhim – MrFarbi and Mr Szewczyk. In the place where was theburntmanor-hous, formednew building, inwhich created a public school. In 1893 MrGorylewicz organized a 5-class school mixed with separate divisions for girls and boys, and in 1912 built a second educationalobject, wherewas a folk school.

  12. After 8 years a mixed school was divided into malebranch and femalebranch, and extended the period of study up to 6 years. The head of the male school, located in a newly constructed, brick building, was MrJoseph Łapatański. The female school, located in a wooden building on the other side of the church, led Weissowa Helena. In 1922, folk schools (female and male) weretransformed into the 7-class elementary schools. They existed until the outbreak of World War II (1939).

  13. During the war, students wereacquiring knowledge in the former femaleschool building, in secret. In 1944, after years of Nazi occupation, the activity of schools was resumed. In 1950 the school converted into a EducationalSchool. It had the name of Count Jan Tarnowski. Directionof thisschoolhadMrRudolph Junikiewicz. In the fifties, the school management was often changed. Only in 1959, director of School No. 1was MrVladislavFurman, who held this position for a period of 16 years. He also made modernisation and an overhaul of the school’s building.
