  2. Qualities of Peak Performers Who are Performers at the Peak? Peak performers can be people at the top of their game and hold leadership roles within their respective organizations. Or, they may be individuals considered leaders, irrespective of the actual position or title they hold. They do in any case more than is required or expected of them and in return experience success and fulfilment.Do you want to learn more? Visit Motivation What does Being a Peak Performer Take? Surprisingly, it is easy to define the qualities which make peak performers so special and allow them to reach such heights: 1. Peak performers have a passion for what they do. It is absolutely critical of that quality. While it is common belief that passion is essential to really move ahead in the world, it is rare to see people at work who are really passionate. While many are professionally committed to their workplace, few are indeed passionate about what they do.

  3. So whence comes passion? Passion can't be manufactured artificially, it must come from within. Talk about the sensation of happiness. No one can tell us to be joyful; joy is a personal, spontaneous emotion that has to come from within.Have a look at Productivity to get more info on this. Passion comes from purpose and it's really hard to be passionate about anything until you have clarified your purpose. So how do you define your aim, and hence your passion? You can do something because it's upbeat, it's deep, it's exciting or it motivates you. It's your unique purpose that drives passion, whatever it is. We feel both joy and passion when we are open to the depths of our experience and in touch with our purpose.

  4. 2. Peak performers are giving 100 percent in everything they do because they're passionate about their passion. When you're passionate about something, giving everything you have is easy and as a result, you'll experience more abundance in your life. Peak performers give their family 100 per cent, their friends 100 per cent, their work 100 per cent and life in general 100 per cent. 3. Peak performers hold a serious commitment to what they are doing. Peak Performers take life seriously while still having fun and experiencing joy in life. They are earnest, thoughtful and very determined at work. High performers have a better grasp of "the big picture" because of their focus and intensity. They have a much broader perspective, and do not suffer from self-centered limitations. If you wish to learn more about this, visit peak performance

  5. 4. Peak actors are experts. Becoming an expert requires three essential elements: openness, interest and curiosity: • Maintaining openness to new information and experiences is the first element. Many of us think we already know everything, since we've been to college or university, accumulated years of work experience, or "been there, done that." But we don't; we learn only a small part of it, so it's important to keep an open mind. • Interest is second element. This means you are interested in what you don't know already and find out more. If you are looking for more tips, check out self-development • Curiosity is the third element; Kids have all three characteristics that top performers need to be. They have an open mind and are interested in new things. Fascinated and interested, they are constantly asking, "why?" or "how does this work?" They always continue with these essential qualities, but as they become adults they get silenced. It's important to throw away any fears that hold us back and relive our curiosity.

  6. 5. Peak performers display great communication skills. Peak performers effectively communicate on all levels, both verbally and nonverbally. They express themselves clearly and concisely, listen carefully and when they speak they are conscious of their articulation. 6. Peak performers decide well. Decision making is the best way to learn how to make good decisions! The more you contribute, the more you learn. You'll certainly make mistakes along the way, but don't let that dissuade you, because every error is an opportunity to learn. So how do you make better choices? Make more conscious of the decisions you make, even the small ones, then assess them. How did I make it? How can I get better? Evaluate how the day went, at the end of each day. Ask yourself, "How was it that went today? Should I live by my purpose?" If so, fantastic. If not, question yourself, "What can I do better tomorrow?" So come up with a plan that will wrap up the day, then suggest what it will be like next day.
