  1. Democracy OfficerYEAR REPORT 2014

  2. In my manifesto I said : • As democracy officer I intend to guide the reps to make sure the representation system works. This means giving them more useful training and all the support they should possibly need. • I will also dedicate time to help with the election and the voting process of the course reps to make sure things are kept fair and proper. • I will keep focused on the job. I love working as a team and will put time and effort in to doing as much as I can.

  3. I believe that this year , I have worked my hardest to ensure that the things I set out to do were getting , done , there were things that I hoped to achieve that I can hold my hands up for and only apologise that they didn’t get done , but others , like the elections that ran and the by-electios just gone that I really out time and effort to make sure they were done on time. Course reps have gone a better this year and many have approached me and vice versa when things needed to be sorted , but I hope that the course reps is something that will be continued to be supported and worked on once the position of democracy is handed on This year I have suffered some blows on the illness side of things , and on a personal level , things have not gone according to plan , but I have tried to put in as much as I could this year . I have enjoyed the role at the union and it was worth running for . I have dedicated heart to the job and even when the going got tough I made a choice to stick it through for the student and to prove to myself that nothing is impossible when you set your mind to the task
