La Fiesta del Cine( FdC) es una promoción a nivel nacional que trata de incrementar la asistencia a salas de cine durante 3 días rebajando el precio de la entrada al presentar un pasaporte de la Fiesta del Cine en Taquilla. 2. Tiene su origen en Francia, donde se lleva celebrando mas de 25 años, con una medía de 3 millones de espectadores por edición. 3. La FdC la organizan los tres principales sectores de la Industria Cinematográfica: Productores, Distribuidores y Exhibidores, y cuenta con el apoyo del Ministerio de Cultura y la Academia de Cine. 4. La FdC es, hoy por hoy, el único evento cinematográfico pensado por y para el espectador. Todo el mundo puede acogerse a la promoción, no existe ningún tipo de restricción ni condición para participar en ella. 5. Tras el éxito de pasadas ediciones, el próximo mes de Octubre de 2012 tendrá lugar la 4ª Fiesta del Cine en nuestro país.
