  7. Area Visit Reports Collected • As of Friday Apr 11/14, 59 reports (20%) submitted out of 288 clubs – 228 to go • From the Fall, 267/287 reports submitted (93%)

  8. Commentary –Useful reports? • Provide accurate commentary on strengths and challenges observed in club • Consider what would be useful for transition, strategic planning • Leverage the Club Success Plan – how are members doing in terms of movement towards their goals? • Names of achievers, leaders are important

Commentary – Useful Reports • Do NOT recycle same lines over and over just to fill text • If you really have nothing to say, write “no comment” • Focus on Moments of Truth – evaluate to motivate • Remember that the report will be read by the Club President (among others • Comments reflect on your attitude and the District as whole

  10. Remember… • The Club President, Division Governor, Lieutenant Governors and District Governor receive your report • Your report will be used for reference for recognition, decision-making and analysis of club • Report as recognition, reflection, strategic tool
