Grad school opportunityRIT's Center for Imaging Science and in particular, the remote sensing program, is expecting to significantly grow our graduate student numbers over the next several years. As a result, I would appreciate it if you would forward the information below to prospective students and encourage any strong students to consider RIT. We have an incredibly high demand for our graduates and pursue a wide range of fascinating work in remote sensing, as well as, the full spectrum of imaging science.

Prof. John R. Schott, Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science Rochester Institute of Technology 54 Lomb Memorial Drive Rochester, New York 14623

Dear Prospective Graduate Student: If you are interested in pursuing a science or engineering graduate degree, we'd like to bring to your attention to the Ph.D and Masters programs associated with the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science at RIT - where we have been producing Ph.Ds and Masters students for twenty years in a rich environment of cutting edge externally sponsored research and a close knit faculty student environment. Information is available from our web site at www.cis.rit.edu under the Red Graduate Application Button (or go straight to http://www.cis.rit.edu/node/237) We offer Ph.D and Masters degree in the following areas: Imaging Science (Remote Sensing, Biomedical Imaging, Vision and Perception, Environmental Sensing, Astronomical Imaging Systems, Imaging Algorithms and Systems, Sensors) Color Science (visualization, computer graphics and animation, art conservations, material measurement, color printing, motion picture and television) and we are also affiliated with the Ph.D and Masters program in Astrophysical Science and Technology (Stellar, Galactic, and Extragalactic Astrophysics, Computational Relativity and Gravity, Astrophysics Technology Development) For more information, please contact Professor John Kerekes at [email protected] (imaging science), Professor Mark Fairchild at [email protected] (color science), or Professor Chris O'Dea at [email protected] (astrophysics).
