  5. Students Can Only Send a Message to the Group or Teacher. Students are unable to direct message each other. 

  6. Optional: Parents Can Access the Group(Each Student Has Their Own Parent Access Code)

  7. Teachers Can Manage Their Own Groups (Change Passwords, Remove Students, Etc.)

  8. Edmodo Offers Many Ways to Communicate and Collaborate

  9. Send Out Announcements, News, Directions, and More Using the Note Feature.

  10. Send Important News and Reminders as Alerts (140 Characters Max.)

  11. Use the Assignment Feature as a Digital Dropbox.

  12. Poll Students/Teachers

  13. Download the Android and iPhone App for Edmodo

  14. Get Updates Through Email or as Text Messages.

  15. Organize Content Using Tags. (You Can Share Tags with Groups)

  16. Teachers Can Make SubGroups Within a Group

  17. Set-up a Class Calendar (Event and Assignment Reminders) You can view separate group calendars or see everything all-in-one.

  18. Use the Gradebook Option You can leave comments for students on specific assignments and upload additional files.

  19. Use the Library to Share and Store Files (Online Storage Space for Students)

  20. Join Communities and Network with Educators Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on Communities.
