  3. Abstract: The notions regarding operational research are based on various mathematical and statistical methods used in decision-making, among which the Monte Carlo simulation method is a worth mentioning example.

  4. The first references to this simulation method date back in 1940 and they are attributed to the researchers John Von Neumann, Stanislaw Ulam and Nicholas Metropolis.

  5. The paper Resource allocation decisions in the Health System: the Monte Carlo simulation methodaims to apply the Monte Carlo simulation method to the resource allocation decisions within the health system.

  6. Key words: • Monte Carlo Method, • resource, • Health System.
