Duties • Supervising the development, creation and presentation of what’s going in a certain fashion magazine. • Under the editor-in-chief • Makes decisions for the department about the upcoming season and issues • Required travel (Milan, Paris, London, New York) visiting fashion shows, boutiques, retail stores etc. • Keep up with the latest trends • Meet deadlines

  3. Education • Bachelors of arts degree in journalism, fashion merchandising or design. • Fashion publication internships • Liberal Arts background

  4. Personal Qualities • Well driven • Motivated • Organized • Prompt • Creative • Leader • Be able to work in fast paced envoirnment

  5. Salary/Locations • Beginning salaries range from $30,000-$40,000 • With experience: $40,000-$60,000 • Top level:$60,000-$100,000 • Location: New York
