  3. Rene Magritte as an artist Rene Magritte was a well known artist, one of the most famous surrealism artists. Magritte’s art was not completely understood at the first look.

  4. Rene Magritte Had his first one man show in 1927, Galerie la Centaurie, located in Brussels. In this time period Rene was producing nearly and piece of art everyday! This made a variety of paintings to study at his shows.

  5. Magritte’s Style Rene Magritte stayed with surrealism his whole life. Rarely went away from it. He liked to draw floating rocks, or a painting with a painting.
