The contributions come directly from their corporate office and franchisees, who either promise a dollar amount for each job they do in October or bestow a specified amount. Last year, Dryer Vent Wizard was able to donate nearly $21,000, raising their sum total offerings made to the Children's Burn Foundation to $63,955. To achieve their 2017 agenda of raising $25,000, their corporate office did some distinct fundraising in addition to their next October drive. On June 3rd, members of the corporate team joined in the Tough Mudder race to increase understanding for the Children's Burn Foundation. Tough Mudder is an endurance competition where people venture to race through a muddy 10-- 12 mile-long military-style obstacle course. This is the first year Dryer Vent Wizard has joined in a Tough Mudder race, and they are hopeful that they will find as much thoughtful support for the Children's Burn Foundation during this Tough Mudder drive as they have throughout their past five years of National Fire Prevention Month drives.
