Phi Theta Kappa has recognized academic excellence in the two-year college since 1918. • Phi Theta Kappa is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 1.5 million members and 1,200 chapters located in 50 united states, U.S. territories, Canada, and Germany. Scholarships • Scholarship is one of the hallmarks of PTK • All-USA Academic Team • Three 20-member teams • $2500 stipends • $1,000 Coca-Cola Two-Year Colleges Scholarship • Awards 400 scholarships annually • Guiswhite Scholarships • 20 scholarships of $5000 • Leaders of Promise • 30 scholarships of $1000 • For use at the community college Visit us at www.geocities.com/ptkbbu

  7. Membership is based primarily upon academic achievement. Invitation to membership may be extended only by the local chapter at the institution in which you are enrolled.
