  3. Sample goals for Mary Speaking & Listening Mary will use language and technology to respond to and make comments and requests to others. Reading Mary will read a personal photo book about class events. Writing Mary will create written messages for familiar peers and adults, using speech-to-text.

  4. Sample goals for Mary Viewing & Representing Mary will create and use a personal calendar to identify events in her school day. Working with Others Mary will take turns in conversations with others.

  5. Develop sample goals With a partner: • Select a student who has a significant disability that one of you knows well. • Create one meaningful goal from one general outcome . • Does the goal align with the planning principles? • Post the goal Your turn!
