  3. Advanced Search Facilities Narrow down your search criteria Omit words that are not useful • Use: • The search tools of google • The search tools of yahoo • A meta search engine. Using the internet to search for impacts on the development of the web. You must show that you have saved documents that you have found into a folder. You must also show that you have checked accuracy – using two websites. Topic specific searches to try

  4. Sharing Information • Blogs • Online diary to share news or information on a particular topic • Personal Websites • Website on a topic you are interested in.

I will then add you to a discussion and you must evidence your contributions. • Social Networking – twitter/bebo/facebook • Use an online store to download/purchase items • Use SkyDrive to transfer work between school and home • Use revision tools on GCSE Bitesize to prepare yourself for a test OR create an online survey using SurveyMonkey.com to find out students views on a topic of your choice • Writing a blog about what you have learnt so far in this course • To gain a distinction you will also need to show the use of remote access.
