Working with and through Knowledge Networks Supporting the creation of internal ILO knowledge networks Tuesday 4:15pm The DWT Bangkok meets to discuss the request and seek relevant experiences found in the KSP. The Team picks one for potential examples. KWeb Tuesday 9:00am During a meeting with constituents Johan is asked for advices on how capacity could be further developed in the country to support the achievement of X. Wednesday 8:50am The DWT Team is unclear how to proceed and shares the request with an internal ILO network of staff across 80 countries for more inputs and a peer assist. Wednesday 11:30am Five network members share their experience and submit products and documents to the requesting DTW Thursday 4:30pm The DTW organize a conference call with the selected parties to discuss implementation experiences, both technical and substantive = and how this should be packaged for the requesting party. Tuesday 10:11am Johan meets Pat who organized 5 weeks ago a ‘brown bag lunch’ to share a few CO experiences in the areas of KM and the creation of local networks. Together they review these practices and discuss their applicability to the local context. Two months later Through the this network, a CO in Africa seeks advices on a similar request just received – total package is available on the knowledge platform. One month later Advisory note, tailored solution and supportive documents packaged by DWT Bangkok has been received by requesting party and shared with the wider internal ILO network Friday 10:10am DWT Bangkok develops a tailored and comprehensive advisory note to the requesting party
