Sensory figures

  • Objective: to identify historical persons and why they are important, to explain how they changed history.

  • You will be responsible to creating a sensory figure for either: Solon, Cleisthenes, Peisistratus or Pericles. You must explain why they are remembered, what did they do for Athens or to Athens? Included their name and a date or time period for them. First you take notes using history facts, then you change those notes into senses. See Draco as an example.

Draco notes

Draco Notes:

Pg169

First to try and change the government

Made harsh laws, all crimes punished by death

First laws written down were by him

I see myself writing the laws

Down.

I hear some Athenians say

The government needs reforming

So I am the first to try to do this.

I am punishing every crime by death, even

If one only steals an apple!
