Overview Genre Launch Date Price per issue 1997 £2.50 Film based • The magazine is based in the UK and is edited by a woman called Jane Crowther • The film industry has grew a lot in the past years and new films come out weekly so this helps the magazine because they have lots of films that they can write about. • The magazine is sold internationally but mainly sells in the UK and Ireland. • it is published every 4 weeks (monthly).

Marketing • The magazine uses bright colours to attract the audiences attention and uses well know films on the cover to make it look more professional, the use of words like ‘exclusive’ or ‘plus’ makes the reader know they will get more if they buy the magazine and large numbers like ‘63’ make is seem like you get a lot for your money

Content The 5 main parts of the magazine •Dialogue-section where readers can interact with the magazine •Buzz-The Total Film news section, providing details on upcoming films, includes first look photos, on-set visits and exclusive "sneak peeks". •Agenda-this area of the magazine previews a different style of films. •Screen-The main cinema review section of the magazine •Lounge-home entertainment guide, including reviews of the latest DVDs and Blu-rays, as well as some games, soundtracks and books. Target audience • The target audience of this magazine would obviously be film lovers as the magazines name clearly shows the genre that it is representing is film • There is a large age range for this magazine as there are films in the magazine for different age groups similarly the magazine is aimed at both sex’s as the variety of films suits both genders. • The magazine is mainly targeting demographic bands D and E (unemployed and students) because these people are more likely to watch films to socialise and the magazines isn’t expensive so they could afford to buy it; but all bands are still potential customers.

As the magazine is both available in print copy and digital i.e. can be read on a kindle or iPad they also use social media sites; Facebook and twitter, for product exposure it also allows fans to question the magazine or people who featured in the magazine. • Total film mainly sells their magazine in the U.K and Ireland. • Total film also have a website(www.totalfilm.com)
