  2. INTRODUCTION Wow The Monday morning was finally here. The Year Five’s were screaming with excitement to go to the famous Camp Kaitawa!!!!!!

  3. Monday Finally we went into the cabins. I looked for a bed. I zoomed across the room. I put my things on top of my bed and bags under. We went on a walk along Camp Kaitawa. We saw a lake with blue, greeny but.. Stop this is the Green Lake. Then we went up the big pipelines.

  4. Tuesday We started to pack our bags and dressed in some spare clothes. We drove to Ngamoko to start off the big walk. There were steep bits. Some people hurt their ankles. Mrs Ball hurt her knee really badly. Mrs Baudinet went right back up the hill and helped the injured back down . They all went in a car but we all carried on and chit chatted all the way back to camp. My favourite thing was the 800-1000 year old tree. Did you know it has got another tree on it? You can see the roots growing up the tree.

  5. Wednesday We started by packing our bags. Two of the groups went first so we wrote prayers while we waited. Then the mini van came back and the car came back so we all went. The walk started steep the low. When we were done we did the loop track. We had lunch and went to the waterfalls. They were so beautiful. They rushed down like giants tears dribbling down rocks. I got to take pictures of them. They were as loud as a whale moaning. My favourite thing was the amazing waterfalls.

  6. Thursday We all went in a car down to the caves and sorted into our groups then we headed off. We saw tomos, some with cages on top and some without . Then it was a long wait to go in a cave . Heaps were little but easy to go through. A little while after the first cave there was a look out. Too bad if you were afraid of heights. Mrs Baudinet showed a rock that looked like the Titantic. It was a great view but scary . Libby found a bug but she was scared off it. We went for a 3 hr walk and 8 caves. My favourite thing was the really steep cave which was the Titanic.

  7. Friday We started to pack our bags and look for any lost property of ours, there was none. So we played some games like stuck in the mud and bull rush. It was really fun. We all had a giggle at the teacher’s. They all got tagged as soon as they stepped foot on the field. Then we left at 11.00am. We stopped to have lunch and to get gas. We got a yummy ice cream. Soon we were back at school where I found my Mummy waiting. My favourite thing was to see my Mummy, Daddy and family. FINALLY HOME!!!!!!!!!!
