  2. Expansion of 509-264 B.C.E. • Rome conquered the Italian Peninsula. • Rome gradually took control of the entire Italian Peninsula. • 200 years of contrast welfare. This is the Italian peninsula that Rome Rome conquered.

  3. Expansion of 264-146 B.C.E. • Overseas expansion during the Punic Wars. • Rome took control of the Mediterranean Sea. • Rome and Carhtage fought with each other for 3 years. This is the Mediterranean Sea that Rome took control of.

  4. Expansion of 145-44 B.C.E. • Expansion of the final years during the Republic. • Brought great wealth to the city of Rome. • The Republic collapsed. • This is general picture of Ancient Rome republic.

  5. Expansion of 44 B.C.E.-14 C.E. • Rome became an Empire. • Only one man stood as the ruler of Rome. • The Civil Wars lasted for more than 10 years. This is one of the one man rulers of Rome Rome. This is the Ancient Rome Empire.
