The preposition __de__ often follows the superlative form to express in or of. • Adverbs are invariable, and always use __le_ to form the superlative • Irregular superlatives: • Bon(ne)(s) = le/la/les/l’ meilleur(e)(s) • Mauvais(e)(s) = le/la/les/l’ pire(s)/plus mauvais(e)(s) • Bien = le mieux • Mal = le pire
