How I ReadThe Bible Need To Create A ‘Good Habit’ • We either have good habits or bad habits • Life is short, like a vapor Jm 4:14 • If we do not develop the good habit of daily Bible reading, time will catch up with us! Need To Create A ‘Positive Addiction’ • Similar to a ‘negative addiction’ • Involves becoming dependent on a good habit • Which helps to maintain the good habit (DBR)

How I ReadThe Bible Creating A ‘Positive Addiction’ • Make Bible reading pleasurable Ps 119:162 • Start slow, with small goals • Begin with prayer Ps 119:18; Ja 1:21 • Read slowly, carefully Ps 1:1-2; 119:15-16 • Use Bible study aids (dictionary, map) • Discuss what you read with others • Read with intention to do Ja 1:22-25 • End with prayer Ps 119:5-6,10-11
