  5. More Quick Facts Zambia • Location: Look at the bottom of the continent of Africa. You will find South Africa. Above it is Botswana, and Zimbabwe to the right. You will find Zambia above Zimbabwe. Zambia is a bit larger than our State of Texas.

  6. More Quick Facts Zambia • The Land: Zambia is on high, flat land covered with grasslands and forests. On the Zambezi River in the south, you can hear the roar of Victoria Falls, a great waterfall, from 10 miles away. • Weather: Because Zambia is high above sea level, it is cooler than most African nations. July is the coolest month (about 61 degrees) and January is the hottest (around 70).

  12. BGMC paid to develop the Edward the Elephant book and costume to teach African kids about AIDS.

  13. BGMC provided a children’s book about prayer for the pastors and Sunday School teachers in Zambia.

  14. BGMC paid for the development of a training manual in 140 languages for the leadership of Zambia and other African nations.

  15. Thank you for giving so BGMC could provide puppets, costume animals, books, teaching materials, and other supplies to reach the children in Zambia.
