Student Health Services Priorities 2011 - 2012 Past Achievements: Outreach • Initiated benchmarking survey: Exit survey of HS patients attitudes • Exceeded previous numbers for vaccine outreach for influenza & Gardasil • Implemented Rapid HIV Testing with Cascade HIV Program • Maintained OHSU relationship: Training Internal Medicine residents, Family Medicine residents, and medical students • Worked with School of Nursing students from Portland  Community College

Student Health Services Priorities 2011 - 2012 Past Achievements: Interdisciplinary Teamwork • Eating disorders team: CAPS, HS, & Nutrition • Sexual Assault Task force: HS, WRC, & state SART • AAAHC accreditation progress: credentialing, privileging, delineating policy, meeting minutes, quality assurance, & consistent documentation for • Standards Compliance: OSHA and Blood Borne Pathogen guidelines • Transgendered Heath Care: QRC, HS, & CAPS

Student Health Services Priorities 2011 - 2012 Future Goals • AAAHC accreditation: The process will continue with a trial site visit before formal audit. • Migrate policy data from the current format into electronic spreadsheets • Maintain present quality assurance programs • Create a formal orientation for new employees • Assessment: Use the present benchmarking tool to identify areas of further interest: • Retention of first generation, international & under represented minority students

Student Health Services Priorities 2011 - 2012 Future Goals Cont. • Preparing for a hard waiver system for insurance billing                               • Make sure that appropriate visit coding is in place • Sort out HIPPA and FERPA regulations and how they apply to medical care of students • Audit medical notes to insure that billing requirements are in place and coincide with the RVU’s system • Learn from ACHA about about how Federal Regulations might change requirements for university health services
