  4. Defining Business Communication Etiquette • Business Communication Etiquette is the forms or manners established to be acceptable by society or profession. • Business Etiquette is used to make people feel comfortable and eliminate barriers that hinder business progression

  5. Non Verbal Communication: Giving or exchanging information without using any spoken words Form of Business Communication Examples: • Gestures • Facial Expression • Body Language • Posture • Eye Contact • Distant

Business Etiquette Greeting and Departures • Handshakes (not a cupped handshake, limp handshakes, clammy handshakes, and sweaty handshakes.) • Remain standing at an interview when someone enters the room or rise if you are seated, smile, extend your hand and greet the person with a firm handshake. • Review the business card before put it away
