  2. Harnessing Big Data to Support Warfighters Around the Globe In driving the modernization of the Army’s Intelligence Corps, Lt. Gen. Mary Legere, the Army’s Senior Intelligence Officer, has focused on ensuring the Army invests and develops the multi-discipline intelligence capabilities required to support Army forces around the globe regardless of the threat environment.

  3. A critical component of this effort is focused on how Army Intelligence gains, sustains, updates and manages the increasing volume of intelligence data available from a vast array of dynamic sensors as well as from the stores of the greater intelligence community.

  5. In her tenure as Army G2, Legere has driven a number of critical experiments with development laboratories and joint partners to explore commercial solutions to present multi-disciplined data into useable, consumable, timely and intuitive ways to better support Army commanders around the globe. Legere is optimistic the increased collaboration will provide the solutions the Army requires, not only to migrate its DCGS-A enterprise to the IC ITE environment, but to set the stage for the Army’s Common Command Post Environment in the near future. industry, research and
