  3. MISSION • Our mission is to strengthen the social dialogue and to introduce the environmental issues as a part of the whole policy for sustainable development of the civil society. • We are persuaded that environmental topics should not be separated from the general topics related to the sustainable development of our society.

  5. PARTNERSHIP • Together with Romanian partners (ECOSENS, Black Sea University, The UNESCO Chair at the Politechnica of Bucharest) we have participated to a number of environmental initiatives and training activities

  6. PARTNERSHIP • We use to work close with Universities, because we are persuaded the notion of sustainability should be introduced at a very early stage of educational programs. • We participated to several common projects with Bulgarian and foreign universities related to the tourism development and heritage conservation.

  7. SOCIAL ACTIVITIES • We develop some social projects and activities. We use to include ethnic minorities, orphans, sole mothers, and disabled people in our target groups because they are among the most affected by the transition process and need assistance and support.

  8. CO-OPERATION WITH AUTHORITIES • We have conducted a number of projects related to the sustainable development of municipalities and have recommended introduction of new policies for achieving sustainability. Our interests are spread also to the urban management and housing. We recently presented to the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works and to the Sociology Institute our study and concept for social housing (“Housing the poor”) in Bulgaria.

  9. TRAINING • We develop and implement training initiatives aiming to strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of businesses, NGO, municipal staff, youth and unemployed people. • We developed several programs for education of marginal groups and for self-employed people.
