  3. Costume Designer/ Crew head • Tells stories about characters and uses what people wear to help tell their story • You get a sense of • who they are (characters) • where they come from, • what they’re doing and • what they’re going to do next.

  4. Costumes help to show#1 A Character's Age Can tell us how old a character is or how old they want you to think they are

  5. Costumes help to show#2 Gender Can tell us whether the character is male or female and will wear things that emphasizes the fact

  6. Costumes help to show#3 Time Period Can tell us when we are in time going back to the prehistoric time to the present

  7. Costumes help to show#4 Social Status Can show us how much money a person makes or what their rank in society is.

  8. Costumes help to show a #5 character’s Personality AND MOOD Can tell us how their character’s general behavior is
