They changed it to help the economy •  Used to be called Llanfairpwllgwngyll, but they thought that more letters would draw more attention • Political Upheaval • Political Correctness

Situation • The location of a place relative to other places • Also known as relative location • Why might situation be a good way to describe place? • Situation helps us to understand the importance of location; many locations are important because they are accessible to other locations • Singapore became a center for trade in SE Asia • What other places are important because of their access to other places?
