  2. Star of David • The star of David was put on any clothing the Jews had. Germany took control of Poland in fall ,1939. In Germany kid 12-over had to wear the yellow star. In Poland 14-over had to wear the yellow star. Germany recognized and harassed the Jews on sight. The star of David now simblelizes Hanukah.   3. Book burning  • On May 10,1933 thousands of Nazi students took books and burned them. More than 20,000 books where burned . The Nazi “purify” German cultures.   4. Auschwitz-Birkeneau • Auschwitz was three different camps rolled into one there was killing, concentration, and salve labor. Auschwitz was opened June of 1940. Each new arrivals were selected to work or die. Anne and her sister Margot died from typhus in a death march. Anne Frank’s father lived throughout world war two.   5. ZyklonB • Zyklon B is a very dangerous poison or gas. Zyklon B is the commercial name of hydrogen cyanide. It is highly poisonous to any thing that lives. Zyklon B killed hundreds of people.
