  2. Each semester Bridgewater State University has a green bulletin board challenge. The board that follows is an award winner. To create the board go on the Internet and research “ocean gyres”. Don’t overload the board with information, but do add some trash. Find five important facts and educate your residents on this topic.

  3. Note from Editor This bulletin board could easily be turned into a program! Invite Faculty, Administrators and Community Leaders dedicated to Green issues. I. Start the program with introductions II. Goals (to have participants learn a little more about GYRES ), III. Definitions. IV. Education about the facts V. Follow up discussion about how can we apply this information to our lives and our community. VI. Make sure to carry out a simple assessment with all participants and planners to gather information about what information they gathered from the presentation and how it could be improved.
