  2. Juicy Couture • The line is sold in stores such as Bloomingdales, Lord and Taylor, Nordstrom and many other stores • Juicy Couture is well known for their tracksuits. • The Juicy line is made for women the ages of 10 through 26. This is a Juicy tracksuit 

  3. What Did They Do that was Different? • The Founders of juicy couture took an economic risk by inventing a tracksuit. Their line is now most famous for their tracksuits and they have inspired other companies such as Nike and The Gap to make tracksuits like theirs. They were just an improvement of a basic clothing store, though.

Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor’s First Start In 1994, Gela Nash-Taylor (and Pamela Skaist-Levy, both living in California decided to create their own fashion label, called Travis Jeans, selling maternity pants. In 1996 the two girls changed the name to Juicy Couture. These two girls are Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor 

  5. What other business have benefited from Juicy Couture • As I said a few slides a go Nike is a company that makes tracksuits too. Since the economy is not doing well and people may not be able to afford Juicy brand tracksuits they may but Nikes at a cheaper price. Therefore Juicy Couture has helped Nike sell there products

  6. Can we Buy Shares? • This business we can not but shares of. But you can buy shares of Liz Claiborne Inc, who owns Juicy Couture. It costs about $8.62 per share.

  7. Products The founders of Juicy Couture Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor have introduced new products to their lineup. In 1999, they introduced jeans to their line called Juicy Jeans. In 2001, they introduced the track suit, the item that the company is most famous for. The tracksuits come in a lot of colors and are made of velour, terry cloth, fleece, or cashmere, and consist of low riding draw string pants and a zip-up hoodie.
