  8. Getting Started • Go to http://kidblog.org/home/ • Click on Create • Fill in • Name ( your name) • Password • Email • Class Name • Verification Code

  9. Getting Started • Click on Create a Class • You should see “Setting up Your Class” • Click on Users • Click on Add New Users • Add students names and passwords, one at a time, then click on Add New User • After all of your students have been entered, go to Settings

  10. Getting Started • Settings- • Keep all default settings except • Time zone- change to New York • Under General Settings, go to Comments Tab • Take off the Comment Approval check • Save Changes

  11. Making Your First Post • Go to New Post • Add the title of your assignment • Type in your assignment details in the text box • Click on Publish

Instructions for Students • Give students web addresshttp://kidblog.org/home/ • Click Log in drop down button • Enter teacher’s email to find class • Look for class name and click link • Once on the site, click Log In • Instruct the students to read assignment • Then click on New Post to answer • Students type blog and then publish

  13. Commenting Instructions • After reading blog, scroll down to the : “Leave a Comment” tab and begin typing your comment in the text box • After comment is completed, click on “Submit Comment”
