Startup program, 1 • Machine setup (i.e. R:\Controls\matlab\acceleratorcontrol\docs\SRSetupUsingMatlab_ALS.doc) • Bergoz BPM/orbit checks: monbpms, correct orbit, PSD, set averaging, aperture scans?, monrates? • PS checkout: monmags; check that quad shunt is off; magstep?; monrates? • QMS: establish offset orbit and golden orbit (w/ septum bump); include alignment data?; include magnet fiducialization? • LOCO: correct betas and coupling, set BPM gains, check corrector gains • measure xs • orbit interlock calibration & verification & trip speed check • Current interlock check; ACM checks • Radiation measurements (~1 hour for scrapers) • BTS • Fix optics • Investigate efficiency vs. steering (aperture?) • Echotek BPMs • Collect calibration data for Till • Check kicker bump match w/ echoteks • Dynamic aperture/kicker/echotek/scraper calibration • Dynamic aperture vs. frf vs. vertical scraper • Injection efficiency vs. vertical and horizontal scraper • Requires clearing floor? • Injection, lifetime with ny = 6.23, 7.23?, nx = nx+1 • Injection efficiency w/out IDs (should go up w/ dynamic aperture) • BL5 EPU skew gradient correction; skew quad hysteresis? • Measure tune shifts with amplitude w/ and w/out IDs • Measure frequency map: nx,ny(xb,frf) • Lifetime vs. vertical and horizontal scraper (preferably with reasonable vacuum).
