  40. 8th Grade Science Big Bang Lab Friday, December 14, 2012 • Collect materials: string, ruler, balloon, marker. • Partially inflate a balloon. DO NOT TIE A KNOT! • Use a Visa-Via marker to mark 5 stars labeled A, B, C, D, and E. • Use a string and a ruler to measure from A to the 4 other stars in centimeters. • Record your measurements. • Add more air to the balloon to make it medium sized. • Repeat step 4. • Fill up the balloon and tie it. • Repeat step 4. • Put materials away.
