2. Round One Each team member will be given the definition for one word. The team earns one point for each correct answer. Match the word with its definition!

3. BONUS ONE Each team will nominate one member to do push-ups while giving the correct word for each definition. The team with the most correct answers earns five points. VOCABULARY PUSH-UPS

4. Round Two Each team member will be given one word. The team earns one point for each correct definition. Define the vocabulary word!

5. BONUS TWO Each team will nominate one member to do jumping jacks wile giving the correct word for each definition. The team with the most correct answers earns five points. VOCABULARY JUMPING JACKS

6. Round Three Each team member will be given the synonyms for one word. The team earns one point for each correct answer. Give the vocab word for its synonyms!

7. BONUS THREE Each team will nominate one member who can spell a word while running a lap around the room. The team whose member completes the most laps with a correct spelling for each earns five points. VOCABULARY SPELLING LAPS

8. Round Four Each team member will be given the antonyms for one word. The team earns one point for each correct answer. Give the vocab word for its antonyms!

9. BONUS FOUR Each team will nominate one person to do sit-ups and give a definition for a word for each sit-up. The team with the most correct answers and sit-ups earns five points. VOCABULARY SIT-UPS

10. Round Five Each team member will have the chance to spell one word. Each correct spelling is worth one point. Correctly spell the vocabulary word!

11. BONUS FIVE It’s time to recycle the books. Each team will receive two points for every book to make it into the box at the front of the room. 3-point shots can be made from the back row! VOCABULARY BOOK TOSS!

12. Final Round Each team member will be given the definition for a word from the first 5 units of the book. The team earns two points for each correct answer. Old & difficult words!
