stories high, collapsed at a

construction site in New

York City. The crane fell

across the street into a

Manhattan East Side

skyscraper. This disaster

killed 4 people and left 3

missing.

The state of Georgia suffered

from severe tornados on

Saturday. One whipped right

through the heart of Atlanta,

the state’s capital, as well as

killed 2 people. The governor

The United Nations Environment Program recently proclaimed that the Earth’s glaciers are melting at record rates. This could cause problems especially for people who rely on the water that comes from these glaciers. This could cause immense problems in places like India. The Program encourages countries to agree to stricter targets for emission reductions.
