  2. About the author. • He did not want to be a author at first. • He also wrote a comic called ‘igdoof’ in his colleges news paper. • In 1998 he came up with the idea for Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

  3. Setting slide • This story takes place different settings. • Their house, his school. Also west PA or east OH.

  4. Characters • The main characters are Greg and Rowley. • Greg is a average kid trying to make it through middle school. • Rowley is the same kind of kid as Greg but immature and weird.

  5. Plot • The plot of this story is how Greg progresses through 6th grade. • Sometimes he faces good thing then other times its bad themes.

  6. Conflict • The main conflict is Greg vs. school. • He solves the conflict by finding a way to deal with his problems.

  7. Theme • The theme of this story is you always have a friend • I thought this was the theme because Rowley was always there for Greg.

  8. Book review • This book is a good ARP book. It is a easy read and good for projects. The only thing not good about this book is it only has 3 ARP points. This is a great book and I read all of the books in the series. I would recommend this book to a friend.
