  2. Unit Summary • Students take the role of messangers on the community to aware the farmers on use of implements for better agricultural practices. They conduct experiments on using new tools and can compare this on traditional tools and can give demonstrations to the rural farmers and can create awareness about saving energy , labour and time. They can do research work on the people of a nearby village about how they are using tools in agriculture . They can take guidelines from agriculturists. They can do skit, drama, dances to aware people on new tools of farming through entertainment. They can give multimedia presentation on these to show lively and can create blog to take opinions of farmers.

CFQ • Essential Question: • How can we change the life of a farmer? • Unit Questions: • What can I do for farmers for a better future in agriculture? • How can I help farmers for better agricultural practices? • Content Questions: • What are the traditional tools used in agriculture? • What are the modern tools used in agriculture nowadays? • What are the benefits of using modern tools in agricultural practices?

Vision for Unit • By creating this unit ,I want to • Aware my students about new methods to make more production of food with least use of labour and time for farmers. • Think of ways to involve my students in more in community to help farmers for better agricultural practices. • During my unit , I want my students to • Learn about traditional and modern methods of farming and can compare the benefits of modern methods over traditional methods.

Project Approaches • My students work on this project, they • Establish a connection with agriculturist for better agricultural practices . • They can collaborate with peers and community members. • They can create tools on agricultural practices for a better • Tomorrow .They can help the nation’s ecionomical status by improving agricultural practices.

  6. Request for feedback • Need innovative ways to help students to understand the concepts of agricultural practices keeping their interest alive. • Need help assessing students higher order thinking skills.
