Summary: Construction • March 2012: Building Permit Close-out • Official certificates of occupancy for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 structures complete and in hand. • Close-out documents completed and submitted • Public Safety Technologies work progress • BP#12—Conduit installation 95% complete; all panels and transformers installed; circuit and camera installation planned for April

Bid Package #12 Street Grid/Pedestrian Improvements Design • Pedestrian walkway and street improvements preliminary design • Part 2 of BP#12 to be bid Fall 2012—sidewalk upstream side of Roebling Bridge, pedestrian bridge over Pete Rose Way, construction of Ohio River Trail segment—Urban Design Review Board set for April 18 • Part 1 of BP#12 to be bid Spring 2013—widening of Second Street sidewalk, removal of Race Street Bridge, reconstruction of portion of Freedom Way, completion of Public Safety technology

  15. Developer’s Leasing Activity • The Tin Roof and Crave have started construction. • Mahogany’s is in design phase. • The Wine Guy design is underway. • Ruth’s Chris is designing their space.

Summary: Economic Inclusion • Actual Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation for Construction through 02/25/12 is 36% (goal is 30%) • Minority Business Enterprise (MBE): 15.9% • Women Business Enterprise (WBE): 2.8% • (there are no MBE or WBE goals) • Professional Services (SBE goal is 10%) • SBE: 8.0% • MBE: 6.8% • WBE: 2.1% • (there are no MBE or WBE goals)

  18. Economic Inclusion Bid Packages #5, #6, and #7 are closed out. Substantial work was completed this month by the DBE contractors on Bid Packages #9 & #11; final billings are projected to meet ODOT goals. Economic Inclusion • Combined Minority/Female Workforce participation is 17.44% as of 2/25/12. • Minority Workforce (female and male) is 16.15% • For the one-month period ending 2/25/12, a total of 100% of workers lived within the 15-County Cincinnati-Middletown MSA • Local residency analysis 1,411 workers (through 2/25/12) • Tri-State 97.7% • Cincinnati-Middletown MSA 77.1% • Hamilton County 25.7% • City of Cincinnati 9.1% • There are no local residency participation goals.

  20. Summary: Safety • The TC-28 Contractor, ESI, reports no lost-time accidents. • Phase 1 and Phase 2a construction closed out with no lost-time accidents in over 416,000 hours worked.

Cincinnati Parks • Schmidlapp Event Lawn and Stage opened to the public in March. • Bike Center interior build-out is underway; Center set to open to the public in spring. • The Smale Riverfront Park dedication and grand opening will be on May 18. • Construction work at Smale Riverfront Park Phase 3 (south of Mehring Way) continued.
