Builds categories by using data from the SIS • Categories are posted to the Open Course Categories page • When a category is opened, category, courses, and enrollments are created/maintained • Creates courses and cross-listed courses • Generates enrollments, processes adds/drops/withdraws • When a category is closed, category, courses, and enrollments stop being updated • Automatic enrollment of observer type role for department heads/deans, etc. via the Manage Observer functionality Courses and Enrollments Integration
