  2. Did you know.. • Leonardo Da Vinci painted the most famous • painting in the history of painting! • The painting was painted in 1503 to 1519. It took Da Vinci at least 15 years to do the mouth on Mona Lisa. After that, he moved to France. Shortly after that he passed away. • The Mona Lisa painting was sold to almost 200 million dollars in 2012.

  3. Sir Isaac Newton • Sir Isaac Newton was known for making the “Reflecting Telescope.” But not a lot of people know that he actually named the colors. It is some what true that he made the colors. • Some of the colors Newton named were Blue, orange, green, red, Indigo, and Violet!

  4. Art expresses our feelings. • We need to give our young ones a chance to express themselves on a blank sheet of paper and a crayon or a pencil. It gives them a chance to use a utensil. • If you see a child drawing skulls and other things, you instantly know they like Death. They would like some attention. If you see a child drawing hearts and love signs, you know they are in love or like something. • We give our young ones the coloring experience because some do not like to talk or write their feelings down, but through art they do.

  5. The use of Paintbrushes The use of paintbrushes now a days are for the very small details on a piece of art. Paintbrushes were originated from Sweden and brought over to America. Paintbrushes are very delicate little things. They are made by wood, bristles, the metal to hold it, and glue. Cool eh?
