  2. CochinilloAsado • CochinilloAsado is roast baby pig. • It is crispy on the outside while its meat on the inside is juicy and tender. • It is considered a delicacy in Spain

  3. Pulpo a la Gallega • Pulpo a la Gallega is boiled octopus served with paprika, rock salt, and olive oil. • Although the flavor of it is not too different, the texture has the tendency to throw some people off.

  4. GambasAjillo • GambasAjillo is a large pawn/shrimp cooked in olive oil with garlic and chilli flakes. • It is very common in Madrid. • It is very delicious.

  5. Paella • Paella is a Spanish rice dish. • It can be served with vegetables, meat, or shrimp.

  6. Pescado Frito • Pescado Frito is fried fish. • Although it is mostly known as “fish and chips” in the UK, it is best done in Cadiz, Andalusia. • There are a variety of fish that they fry.

  7. Tortilla Española • Tortilla Española is an omelet with potato and usually onions. • Sometimes it also has pawns/shrimps, mushrooms, or squid in it as well. • It is sometimes served with cheese.

  8. Gazpacho • Gazpacho is cold tomato soup or as some people call it, liquid salad. • It is a tomato base soup with cucumber, green pepper, garlic, olive oil, and salt. • It is popular in the summer time.

  9. QuesoManchego • QuesoManchego is Spanish sheep cheese. • It is made from sheep milk and is slightly salted and often served with jamonibérico (another dish)

  10. PatatasBravas • PatatasBravas are fried potatos in spicy sauce. • They are very spicy.
