  4. Strengths • Program is open to all UAA students • Civic engagement emphasis • Opportunities for self-discovery, meaningful collaborations, and community engagement • Strong professional staff • Collaborative practices with several departments across campus EXPERIENCE • PARTICIPATE • LEAD

  5. Opportunities • Revision of mission and learning outcomes • Implementation of comprehensive assessment plan • Establishment of stable funding source • Administrative support • Curriculum revision EXPERIENCE • PARTICIPATE • LEAD

Surprises • Program curriculum meets most of the domains and dimensions established by The Council for the Advancement of Standards Learning and Developmental Outcomes • Importance of additional support (financial and human resources) for the ultimate success and sustainability of ELP • Strong partnerships with departments across Student Affairs EXPERIENCE • PARTICIPATE • LEAD
