  5. Purpose 15 pts • Why are we going into the lab? • What are we going to try to find out? • Keep it short but concise! 2-4 sentences BEFORE

  6. Procedure 15 pts • Describe what you’re doing… simply • What equipment are you using, what are you doing with it, etc.? DURING

  7. Results 15 pts • Record your data: • E.g. what you observed… saw, smelled, measured DURING

  8. Calculations 20 pts • If needed, crunch some numbers from the “Results” section to see what it all means. • You MUST! MUST!!MUST!!! Include all of the proper units in these calculations! • A number tells me nothing if there isn’t a unit. AFTER

  9. Conclusions 25 pts • Did your “Calculations” match your expectations stated in the “Purpose”? • If not, conjecture/guess why they didn’t. AFTER
