  4. Authentication and Encryption • Go to home ->Wireless • SSID-Change the default SSID • SSID Broadcast –DISABLE • Authentication-WPA-PSK • Cipher Type – TKIP or AES • Pass phrase- Configure the PSK(withminimum of 8 characters)

  5. MAC Authentication Go To ->Advanced –Filter to accept or reject a MAC address

  6. Change the Default Settings Go to Admin -> Tools and change the default username and password Go to Home -> LAN for changing the default IP address

  11. Authentication and Encryption • Go to Wireless - > Wireless security • Security mode-WPA-Personal • Encryption-TKIP or AES • Shared secret- Configure the PSK pass phrase ( Minimum 8 characters)

  12. MAC Authentication Check this to restrict access to prescribed MAC ids Enter allowed MAC ids To get the MAC address of your Wireless card, Go to DOS and type "ipconfig /all"

  15. SSID Setting Go to Advanced-> Wireless Settings →Disable SSID Broadcast option Change the Default Settings Go to set password-> Change the default password
