Classification of Contacts Automotiv Manufacturer / Automotiv Developer Requirements • Book of knowledge for fundamental • physical properties ( standard work ) • technical solutions including the whole measuring chain from the sensor up to the datalogger • state of the technical knowledge • error estimations for certification and other contacts with public agencies • List of knowledge carrier for special topics Result • strong interest • in the majority of cases no interest and no qualification to have a share in the web presence • problems with the English language (staffer, technician)

Classification of Contacts Measuring Tool / Measuring Method Developer Requirements • a well sorted technical forum with information about • the users needs at the moment and in the future (performance specs) • information about the state of technical equipment of the users • the provision or the scheduled provision of the other developers Result • There is the qualification and the knowledge to have a share in the web presence • They want to acquire customers for their tools • They want to use the EVITHERM web presence to align their developement with the customers needs at the moment and in the future

Necessary Conditions • input pages with searching terms • identification for users or developers • identification whether someone needs development partners or is an development partner • description of needs or subjects in the future • a well defined field of the application and the operating conditions like reliability, easy handling, standard-interfaces or bus-systems, space requirerments, set-up time etc. • an easy-to-use interface (browser) and a high performance access • determined project leadership that organizes, arranges and collects the information and the contribution of the members • an accurate translation in several languages for the most terms • an editiorial staff for the publications and releases ( technical writer, copy editor, internet designer, translator, typist etc.) • an intensive promotion for EVITHERM

Missing Solutions / Difficulties • The first fill-up of the database will claim a lot of time without benefit and each member has to apply this time • members use the forum only for „normal“ publicity • potential members are waiting till EVITHERM is in use and shows first benefits • In most of the cases ( automotive sector) the knowledge carriers have not got the qualification to write an article • There must be an editorial office at least until the main body of the EVITHERM web presence has come into being. • We have to keep the members / authors up to scratch for at least 2 years or more until the main body of EVITHERM is built up.
