  1. What are some problems do NGOs face in educating the poor?

  2. 1) Lack of Funds • Many of the NGOs face Irregular Donations due to which, they are unable to help the poor. • NGOs didn’t get the investors to invest in their projects so that they can well-utilise the money. • Due to Irregular Donations, They will get the donation for one month, but for the next month they didn’t get the funds.

  3. 2) Untrained Teachers • Many of the NGOs also face the problem of getting Untrained Teachers, Due to which, children didn’t Learn the Basic Skills, such as, reading, writing and math. • There is a lack of primary and secondary teachers in NGO, and the teachers that are currently working are Untrained. • So, NGOs need more well-trained teachers from which the poor child will get to learn all the basic skills.

  4. 3) No classrooms • A child cannot learn without the right environment. • Children in many countries are often squeezed into overcrowded classrooms, classrooms that are falling apart, or are learning outside. • They also lack textbooks, school supplies, and other tools they need to excel.

  5. 4) Lack of learning materials • Due to Lack of Funds, NGOs face the problem of providing Proper Learning Materials to their Children. • Workbooks, exercise sheets, readers, and other core materials to help students learn their lessons are in short supply. • Teachers also need materials to help prepare their lessons, share with their students, and guide their lessons.

  6. 5) Hunger and poor Nutrition • The impact of hunger on education systems is gravely underreported. • Being severely malnourished, to the point it impacts on brain development, can be the same as losing four grades of schooling. • Good nutrition can be crucial preparation for good learning.
